The Salzburg Mozarteum University has appointed Maestro Ion Marin as Endowed Professor of the Claudio Abbado Chair for conducting, starting academic year 2020/2021.
The French Republic Government has honoured Maestro Ion Marin's activity by awarding him the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
